Learning to fly is a serious business and much of the emphasis is on safety, but that doesn't have to mean that it's not fun. Whether you are having a trial flight or training for your National Private Pilots Licence (NPPL); on every flight you will discover new skills and expand your horizons.

Most flying takes place in a Thruster T 300 Taildragger. This is a robust open cockpit fixed-wing microlight. If you have your own microlight we can train on that.

Trial flights last from 30 to 60 minutes during which you will take control of the microlight and fly it. If you want to sit back and enjoy the view; that's OK, there's no pressure to do anything you don't want to do. Flying costs about £100 per hour.
Never too young to learn to fly !
Flying training for a Licence needs 25 to 35 hours through a carefully planned syllabus created by the British Microlight Aircraft Association (BMAA). You will also have to do some homework and pass 4 tick test exams. Most pilots thoroughly enjoy the learning experience as they discover more about their new environment.

For the qualified microlight pilot I can offer taildragger conversions and refresher training.
